PinPoint Privacy Policy
PinPoint ("the app") is recruiting management software for college wrestling coaches, developed by Brock Zacherl ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Information the App Stores
PinPoint stores the information you and your coaching staff enter into the app, including:
- Coach and team information — names of coaches on your staff, team name, and scholarship budget figures.
- Recruit and athlete information — names, high school, state, phone numbers, references, credentials, ratings, scholarship offer amounts, notes, and links to publicly available match video.
- Apple iCloud identifier — the app uses your iCloud account to identify you and associate you with your team. We never see your Apple ID password.
You are responsible for the information you enter about recruits and athletes. Coaches should only collect and store recruit information in accordance with applicable NCAA rules and privacy laws.
Where Your Data Is Stored
All data is stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) service and is transmitted securely. Data is associated with your team so that your coaching staff sees a shared, up-to-date view. We do not operate our own servers, and we do not have routine access to your data.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your data or any recruit's data.
- We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not collect your location.
Third-Party Services
- Apple iCloud / CloudKit — stores and syncs your data. Apple's privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- WrestleStat — the app retrieves publicly available national rankings from wrestlestat.com. These requests do not include any personal information about you, your athletes, or your recruits.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains in iCloud until you delete it. You can delete individual recruits and wrestlers in the app. To delete your team's data entirely, contact us at zacherlinvestments@gmail.com and we will remove it.
Children's Privacy
PinPoint is intended for use by college coaching staff, not by children. Coaches may enter information about high-school-aged recruits as part of the normal recruiting process; that information is subject to the protections described in this policy, and we will delete any recruit's information upon request from the recruit or their parent/guardian at zacherlinvestments@gmail.com.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above.
